The journey towards Minimarg kept becoming more magical with every single turn on the mountain road. After covering around 25 kilometers the riders had already climbed nearly 2900 feet into the sky. Cool wind was blowing through the green valleys while complete silence surrounded the mountains. There were moments when not even a single sound could be heard except the soft voice of the wind touching the hills.
The road ahead was leading towards the famous Burzil Top and the excitement inside everyone was growing fast. Every rider felt like they were entering another world far away from noise traffic and city life. The valley looked untouched and peaceful with green mountains snow covered peaks and rivers flowing quietly below.
As they stopped for a short break everyone stood silently looking around because the beauty was impossible to explain in words. One vehicle passed after several minutes and then once again complete silence returned to the valley. The peaceful atmosphere made everyone feel relaxed and lost inside nature.
Soon the group reached Chilam Chowki which is the main security checkpoint before entering Minimarg. Every tourist must stop here for entry and checking because the area lies close to the Pakistan India border. Army officials carefully check identity cards bookings and travel details before allowing tourists to continue the journey.
The riders explained that people without hotel bookings are often not allowed to cross after a certain time. Some tourists who reached late were sent back after hours of difficult off road travel. Because of this travelers are advised to plan carefully and reach the checkpoint early.
Fuel was another major issue in the mountains because the last petrol point was near Chilam Chowki. Small bottles of fuel were being sold at high prices because no fuel stations exist ahead on the route towards Minimarg. The riders filled extra petrol in their bikes before continuing the journey deeper into the mountains.
After crossing the checkpoint the scenery changed completely. Massive green mountains appeared on both sides while patches of snow rested quietly under the clouds. One side of the road looked green and alive while the other side looked rocky and barren creating a unique mix of Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir landscapes.
The riders crossed heights of almost 11800 feet while climbing towards Burzil Top which stands around 13800 feet above sea level. The road was rough broken and full of off road tracks yet nobody cared because every minute revealed another unbelievable view.
Yaks horses and cattle could be seen walking peacefully across the valleys while streams of glacier water flowed beside the road. The riders kept stopping again and again to capture the scenery because every mountain looked different from the last one.
Finally the group reached Burzil Top and everyone became emotional seeing the beauty around them. White snow covered the mountains while thick clouds floated just above the peaks. The clean untouched environment reminded them of views seen in foreign countries yet this hidden paradise existed quietly inside Pakistan.
The travelers described Burzil Top as one of the most scenic mountain passes they had ever visited. Unlike crowded tourist places this area felt peaceful pure and naturally beautiful. The snow still looked fresh and white while the valleys below appeared like giant green carpets under sunlight.
After crossing Burzil Top the road slowly started descending towards Minimarg. Along the route they discovered a small roadside dhaba standing alone in the middle of nowhere surrounded by mountains clouds and greenery. The peaceful atmosphere around the tea stop felt unreal.
At first the group planned to order tea pakoras and fries but suddenly they noticed fresh lamb biryani being prepared inside a traditional cooking pot. The smell of spices and meat instantly changed their minds and everyone decided to wait for the biryani instead.
The biryani became one of the highlights of the journey. Fresh lamb fat rich spices and hot steaming rice created unforgettable taste in the freezing mountain weather. The travelers kept praising the food while sitting peacefully in front of snow covered peaks and green valleys.
Local people joined the conversation and shared stories about Minimarg and nearby villages. They explained that even more beautiful views were waiting ahead and the riders could hardly believe it because the scenery already looked perfect.
As the journey continued every turn revealed another breathtaking landscape. Green velvet style mountains appeared under golden sunlight while clouds floated slowly above the peaks. The riders said it looked exactly like an old Windows wallpaper because the beauty felt unreal.
One traveler became emotional and called this place one of the best views of his entire life. He explained that the camera could never fully capture what the human eye was seeing in reality. The mountains looked alive with layers of green brown snow and sunlight blending together beautifully.
After hours of riding through valleys rivers glaciers and mountain roads the group finally reached Minimarg. Small wooden houses appeared between green fields while zigzag roads crossed the valley floor. The entire village looked peaceful calm and hidden away from the world.
The riders explained that the difficult road was completely worth the effort because the beauty after Chilam Chowki changed everything. Every few minutes the scenery became even more breathtaking than before.
Inside Minimarg the group stayed at the army guest area because regular hotels do not exist in the valley. Only limited accommodation is available along with camping spots for tourists. The peaceful room opened towards giant green mountains while the Indian side of Kashmir lay only a few kilometers away across the peaks.
After freshening up the riders spent the evening drinking hot tea while cold mountain winds covered the valley. The temperature dropped quickly after sunset and everyone wrapped themselves in warm blankets while enjoying the peaceful atmosphere.
Dinner included delicious local style food and after a long adventurous day the group prepared to rest before exploring more of Minimarg the next morning.
The travelers ended the day by saying that Minimarg is not just another tourist destination. It is a hidden dream filled with silence mountains clouds rivers and unforgettable beauty that stays forever inside the heart.
